Nurse on Terror Island
Nurse on Terror Island
Love and fear—there was too much of both, now Avril Andrews was forced to make the most difficult decision of her young life.
A Paradise of an Island
- A darkly handsome man of wealth.
- A young Pop singer of international fame.
- A fiance four thousand miles away.
- A beguiling 8 year old orphan boy.
All these helped to complicate the life of pretty Nurse Avril Andrews. She had received her nurse’s cap only a few hours before and was on her way to Orestes Island to care for young Domingo, the ward of the handsome and powerful Ramon Orestes.
She hardly expected to become the fiancee of two men and find herself in love with a third, and then lose her heart completely to the convalescing little Domingo.
Neither was she prepared to face the terror which gripped the entire population of the island. She found herself being drawn inevitably into the web of fear…

What is she doing wearing pumps out amidst the breakers during a full-on hurricane? And black pumps, at that?! Everyone knows that nurses wear sensible yet attractive white flats, or at the most daring perhaps a pair of low-heeled gumsoles.
These cover artists and authors need to have some sort of conference to coordinate things before the book heads off to the printer. Next thing you know Emma & Zoe’s Bugglebear will be the cover art for some tame piece like “The Candy Stripers at Shady Dale Leper Community.”

Well, when you wear your red stilletos out on the wave crashing jetty for a little NCMO you’ll deserve a little “love and fear”. Sounds like she is engaged to George Hamilton, Michael Jackson, and some unknown bystander from Florida all the while little Elian Gonzales is happy to have her as nurse and Nanny.
(I tried looking up “Orestes Island” and the closest I could find was “Greek Isles”…yup this is sounding more and more like a Greek Tragedy.)
