If Only We Had a Tiny Elvis...
Nano technology has produced a guitar no bigger than a blood cell. The guitar, 10 micrometers long, has six strummable strings.

March Cancer Awareness

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month. - The following is from American Cancer Society:
Colon Testing Saves Lives: What You Need to Know About Colon Testing
Colon cancer starts with a growth that is not yet cancer. Testing can help your doctor find (and remove) these growths before they become cancerous. If the test finds that colon cancer has already developed, you have a much better chance of beating it if it is found early.
Please visit the ACS for more information.
Remember, in this case, what you don't know CAN kill you. - In love and hope for Grandma Lee.

Some members of the human race have far too much time on their hands.
But perhaps, just PERHAPS, nanotechnology could invent tiny little robots that would eat cellulite very safely and with just the TINIEST entry hole.
Oh. And I suppose they could make little machines for curing disease and all that stuff.
As a child I would lie awake at night dreaming of the ultimate doll house furniture: tiny working refrigerators, vacuum cleaners with suction, tiny televisions, etc. But a Tiny Elvis? Talk about mind-blowing cuteness. (And he would knock those Chipmunks right off the charts.)
IF we're gonna go for cellulite, we might as well go for the whole kit: eternal youth. Like we care about guitars. It's all about US!
Cellulite leeches. That's what we need: cellulite leeches!
"Quick, Kate---to the GeneMobile!" (*vroom, vroom.....SCREEEEEEECH!*)
Thank you for remembering to honour my place as QUEEN OF THE GENETIC UNIVERSE. I like our vehicle, DNA Girl...
So, it's Gene Queen and DNA Girl? I rather like that. Go, girls, go!
Terry, would you like to be our Evil Nemesis, Madame Mutation? I'm telling you - it would be a stellar part...
With great pleasure! Naturellement, you must pronounce Mutation zee French way. And, I get to wear heels.
I gather I have to turn into a genetic horror each time we meet?
Heels? Pshaw. Stilettos (preferably thigh-high boots).
No, you are not the mutation, you're always mutating someone ELSE whilst you are impeccably dressed and wearing coordinated lipstick and such and your cape ALWAYS flows in billowy waves behind you (don't worry about the thing they say about capes in The Incredibles, if you've seen it. Yours has a safety release - not unlike a cat's collar - so that you will never, ever choke yourself).
Sounds good. Uh, give me a few minutes in my trailer while I understand my character and her motivations.
Hi Kate,
Hi all,
First, I am sorry for not participating a lot of times to these interesting discussions in this blog. It happened a lot of times to be hectic with my University exams and engagements. I hope to be forgiven.
Third: I'm sorry but I do not remember my second point!. Just Kiddin'!.
Second: I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Third, finally, I was wondering if you could tell me your opinion on a video about a revolutionary tumor treatment. I posted it in my blog that you find at www.micheleer2.splinder.com. If you wish, do not hesitate to tell yours. It will be very interesting!.
Thank you all.
Michele or, better [to those who think I'm a lady, calling me Michel, ; - )] 'Mic'.
Kate,
first of all thank you for replying in my blog. I do appreciate your effort in fighting cancer.
I am a person who likes to help others. I'm not a doctor, but I did learn by the LAF that 'Information is power, knowledge is strenght'. I simply want to make a difference not just in favor of friends, family and loved ones, but to the research and to the people as well who simply need infos. Cancer could break 'my' body, but it will never break 'my' soul. Sometimes is seen as too much sentimental, but, It seems to me, that thanks to this 'job' done by everyone the battle is still alive and it is not forgiven.
I chose to commit my life, my words, my actions, to word the loleniness, even wearing a yellow band, and this is a lifetime commitment for me.
Michele.
P.S. = My father has always told me that "the life is continuosly a lesson of humility and loyalty. The matter is not how many years we live, but rather what we do with them!. Be yourself, help the others and continue to do that even if you find cynics and skeptics in the steps of your life!".
