It turns out that the show I was in at the Dorsch Gallery got a write up in the University of Miami Hurricane a few weeks ago. I think that having my work included in an obscure student publication would swell my ego if they had my painting right side up.
It is the power of the advertisement. As long as the words Silverado are visible the consumer is helpless and must turn it rightside up. From now on you will have to subvert advertisments by painting them completely black.
It’s funny to watch older people at my shows because they walk around with their heads tilted to the side. It’s like there is a spinal defect going around or something.
WHIMSICAL ZEST!
That is a decent write up on the show, even though I didn’t attend. I would of liked to have seen the scale of it. I didn’t realize how large they are until I saw that website of the show. Good work BoC.
I know this is posted late however, are you interested in the picture I or my photo editor took during your Dorsch show? I have taken them offline but I can send them if you want them. :-)
