Hands down.. OK Go. I have this vision of you, Grettir, Sam, Rus, Bob and Kimball performing this little number at the upcoming Lynn Family Reunion in August. Please. Think about it.. Or you hate me.

Wow. That’s a toughie. I can rule out the older couple because 1. the old lady looks like a nightmarish witch of doom and 2. the old man is better than said nightmarish witch of doom.

The real dilemma is between Le Tigre and OK Go. Le Tigre has some pretty funny dance moves. Though I think I agree with elisabeth. OK Go just has some funny magic. Besides that, they are the most coordinated and synchronized group. I just love their moves.

p.s. I’m really all for you guys performing a dance number in August.

I have to stick with my old favorite, Le Tigre. All of these videos are going to be our workout routine to keep me in shape some day when I am pregnant, but the Decepticon video is the one that first inspired us to hatch this diabolical fitness plan. If you imagine me (pregnant) and Chris doing all these routines in our living room at 7:30 am, I think you might also be swayed to vote for Le Tigre.

Okay, I just watched them again, Maria and Chris, and when you guys are expecting and dancing your hearts out, I call first dibs on actually seeing a dance performance.

We all know Maria has dance skills by her indicative major (Dance). I would also like to point out that having seen Chris’s amazing moves in such exercise arenas as The Gazelle, and such performance arenas as an intense game of Guestures, I know he’s got mad skills. I can’t WAIT till you guys are expecting.

I don’t think anyone is giving enough credit to the disinterested Finnish couple (with obvious marital issues, I may add). That old man has got some crazy moves, plus the rest of the group breaks out some funky-fresh skillz of their own at the end. It’s a Finnish free for all!

Sadly, Elisabeth, I don’t think we’ll make it to the Lynn family reunion this year. Work will be overtaking my life at about that point. So you’ll have to put your hankering for some hunks of cheese on hold until further notice.

I think I will throw my distinguished vote in for the Finnish couple. They’ve got moves I’ve never seen! If I could groove like that…

Sure Le Tigre’s moves might be crisper and a bit more synchronized, and the Finnish guy definately has the dip in his hip, but the OK Go number has HEART.

And the winner is…

OK Go! 3 to 2.

Jason, I really think your bands should look into synchronized dance moves. I would offer my left leg to see you, Doug, and Spanky clogging to “100 Fires,” Lord of the Dance style. You could easily take OK Go in a dance off.

Oh, it’s in the works… and i must say, for a bearded guy, Spanky is quite light on his toes.
