Soul Mates

Lovers united by destiny…

“A power and passion beyond words draws these two lovers together. Their hearts beat as one, for they are…soul mates.

“‘Soul Mates’ is inspired by Lee Bogle’s famous painting of the same name, accurately sculpted and hand-painted to recreate the artistry and emotion of the original work. The two lovers’ bodies are entwined in a sensuous, back-to-back embrace. Their passionate pose is visible from all angles, enhanced with real fabric fringe, feathers and beads.”

I can’t wait for the description for the “coming soon” sculptures…egads! If there is a fourth sculpture in the series you can bet there has to be a papoose involved.

(btw, what exactly are the indian words for canoodling?)

Irrespective of postage and handling, this purchase is a steal for the “real fabric fringe” alone. I’ve combed garage sales and flea markets from beaded sea to feathery sea and I’ve never seen anything like it. Ever. Not even close.

I don’t know about the rest of you; but when I found my soulmate, I know that my first instinct was to stand back-to-back with our arms intertwined and my face turned to heaven. With my eyes closed. Wearing an owl anklet.

Hasn’t everyone felt like that at one time or another? That’s the beauty of these figurines: they’re so universal…
