I’m hooked, and I want the next chapter now! But I also have a terrible confession to make: I’m hooked on “American Idol.” I hadn’t watched the blasted thing until last week, and now I find myself wishing it were on every night of the week. It’s voodoo potion broadcast over the airwaves. I hate to lump you with Ryan Seacrest, Grettir, but there you have it: you’re both churning out the same kind of addictive brew.

I’ve had the girls this weekend, so I haven’t had any time to work on it since I posted Chapter 1. However, I should be able to churn out Chapter 2 by Monday or Tuesday.
I wish I could say with some certainty how often I’m going to be able to post things on HMG, or set up some sort of schedule (say, a new chapter every Tuesday and Friday), but my own schedule isn’t consistent enough to be able to make any promises.
Still, I’m going to try and churn it out as quickly as possible and you can now check for updates on HMG from the Tiny Pineapple home page. The section labeled “Her Majesty’s Gardener” in the right-hand column will always list the most recent chapter.
